Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

We've answered the questions we hear most often about translation procedures.

What is the difference between sworn and standard translation?
A sworn translation is produced by a translator who has taken an oath before a notary, and carries that translator's stamp and signature. Official institutions, consulates and courts accept only sworn translations. Standard translation is for informational purposes and has no official validity.
Is notary certification required for every document?
No. Some institutions accept the sworn translator's stamp and signature alone, while others require notary certification. Tell us which institution the document is for and we will advise whether notarisation is necessary — we would rather you not pay for it unnecessarily.
How long does a translation take?
A standard document (ID, diploma, transcript) is usually delivered within one business day. Same-day delivery is available for urgent requests. For longer or technical texts the timeline depends on page count; we confirm an exact delivery date when we send your quote.
What is an apostille and when is it needed?
An apostille is an international certification that makes a document valid abroad. It is required for official documents — diplomas, civil registry records, criminal record certificates, powers of attorney — used in countries party to the Hague Convention. We handle the governorate procedures on your behalf.
Do I need to bring the document in person?
For most services, no. You can send a clear photo or scan via WhatsApp or email. The original is only required for notarisation or apostille procedures — and even then you can send it by courier.
Which languages do you work with?
We provide sworn translation in all languages. English, German, Arabic, Russian, French, Persian, Spanish and Italian are our most frequent pairs, but our network of sworn translators covers any language you require.
How is the translation fee calculated?
Pricing depends on the language, length (character or page count), technical difficulty and turnaround time. Notary and apostille fees are itemised separately. Send us your document and we will quote a firm price free of charge — with no hidden costs.
Can I use your services from outside Ankara?
Yes. We serve clients across Turkey and abroad remotely. Send your document digitally and receive the translation by email or courier. We carry out notary and apostille procedures in Ankara and ship the certified document to your address.
